Frequently Asked Questions
Many people have asked me these questions, but if you have a question which is not answered here, send me an email or give me a quick call - I'd be happy to answer it.
Are you insured?
Yes, I am fully insured to photograph public events with a public liability cover and professional indemnity cover.
Do you do destination weddings?
Yes. Travel and sleep expenses are subject to individual arrangements.
Do you visit the locations prior to the wedding?
The short answer is yes. The exceptions are destination weddings and venues further than 100 miles from CB1
How many photos can we expect from a full wedding day?
How do we get the photos from our wedding day?
Each Wedding Collection has a luxurious hand-made wedding album included. The albums vary in number of pages and finishings but you can always upgrade your album or add another one (for example a wedding ceremony album and a highlights of the day album). Additionally, you can purchase all your edited digital files on a custom-made USB and this can also come with your album. Enquire about prices.
Do you make prints and albums?
I would love to do this! I believe that photos become alive only when they are printed, This is the reason why all Wedding Collections have a Wedding Album included. During the wedding consultation, I will offer you a range of albums and print products - all hand-made and designed specifically to your wedding - for you and your parents and guests.
Is it OK if we print the photos ourselves?
When you purchase a digital files collection you will receive all your wedding photos on custom-made USB. All files come with a print licence which means that you can print the photos as many times as you like or create your own albums, wall art and framed prints.
And if we lose the digital images?
No worries - I keep your images safe (for many years) and you can always contact me to get another copy.
How do we pay you?
Bank transfer is the standard payment method. I also accept all major debit and credit cards.
When do we pay you?
Each wedding is subject to a booking deposit to reserve your date. This is a non refundable deposit and it is usually 25% of the full wedding photography package costs. The balance (75%) is due two weeks before the wedding. At the time of booking you will receive an invoice with cost breakdown and payment schedule.
